The rating, decomposed
BlackBull review
What produced BlackBull's rating - every factor, shown separately.
BlackBull has not been rated yet - we score a broker only once it has been assessed against every measure, so the number stays comparable. Regulated by FSA (SD045), offering MT4, MT5, cTrader, TradingView. What follows is drawn from the broker's own published material and covers the things that decide the account you end up with: who oversees them, what trading actually costs, and where the compromises sit.
Our rating
Not yet rated. We publish a score only once the broker has been assessed against every measure, so the number stays comparable across our sites. The specifications below are still accurate.
What it costs to trade
- Spread from
- 0.0 pips
- Minimum deposit
- $0
A quoted spread from 0.0 pips is a raw-spread figure, which almost always means a separate commission per lot. Compare the two together - a "zero spread" account with a high commission can cost more than a wider spread with none.
Quoted spreads are best-case figures on the most liquid pair, in normal conditions. What you actually pay widens around news and at the session open.
BlackBull lists a minimum deposit of $0. Treat it as the cost of opening an account, not the cost of trading one - position sizing on a small balance is what tends to cause damage.
Platforms
- Trading software
- MT4, MT5, cTrader, TradingView
MetaTrader 4 remains the most widely supported platform for expert advisors. If you rely on an existing EA, this is usually the deciding factor.
MetaTrader 5 handles more asset classes and order types than MT4, but expert advisors are not compatible between the two - an MT4 EA will not run on it.
cTrader shows depth of market and level II pricing, and is usually paired with raw-spread accounts rather than fixed-spread ones.
TradingView integration lets you trade from charts you may already use, removing the need to run a second platform for analysis.
Leverage, markets and funding
- Maximum leverage
- 1:500
- Markets
- Not on record
- Funding
- Not on record
Leverage up to 1:500 is available on this entity. High leverage does not increase your expected return - it increases position size for the same deposit, and shortens the move needed to close you out.
Regulation and safety
- Regulated by
- FSA (SD045)
BlackBull's licence is offshore (FSA). Offshore entities typically offer higher leverage and lighter reporting, and compensation schemes do not apply - the trade-off is protection, not price.
An FSA licence here is usually the Seychelles authorisation - an offshore entity, with lighter obligations than a tier-one regulator.
